PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)
EITC: Educational Improvement Tax Credits For Businesses and Individuals
Individuals who pay Pennsylvania income tax or businesses that pay Pennsylvania's corporate income tax may be eligible to participate in the PA EITC which allows donors to get a 90% tax credit against your PA tax liability.
How Does It Work?
1. Submit your a joinder form to “reserve” your current year tax credit.
2. Once approval received, mail check to Central Pennsylvania Scholarship (CPSF), a Special Purpose Entity (SPE).
3. Once processed, TSCS receives those tax dollars in their scholarship fund (around mid-Fall).
4. You receive a tax credit of 90% of your contribution.
