The Saint Constantine School is a ministry of the Orthodox Church and rooted in its life and principles.

The Orthodox church has been the home of global Christians for thousands of years, and in this time of ever-increasing persecution we are proud to serve as an extension of that home.

Every member of our faculty, staff, and leadership is a dedicated and practicing Christian. We come from a variety of Christian traditions and churches, but all affirm belief in creedal Christianity as it has been handed down over the ages.

As a Classical school, the great works, beliefs, and true ideas of Christianity are woven throughout all our subjects, most particularly in the humanities and the arts. Lower School students learn about the life of Christ through story and in Greek lessons, learn the patterns of the Church year as a daily part of their classes, and become literate in the music and liturgy of the Church in music class.  Middle and Upper School Students read books of the Bible, and the great theologians and philosophers of the Church throughout their humanities seminars, learning to think about them well and to discuss them with intellectual vigor and charity. Global Church history is woven throughout all student’s history classes, just as the art of Christian churches, including iconography, is studied and practiced in studio art class.

School starts every day with morning prayers led by a visiting priest, and we host divine liturgy for students throughout the year, allowing students of all Christian traditions to experience the ancient practice of Christianity as passed down through millennia.
